Baboon Playing a Mandolin Ornament
The Baboon Playing a Mandolin Ornament is hand-blown, hand-painted glass made in the traditional European style, in a small family-owned workshop in Poland. Jennifer Ellsworth Landmarks Company commissioned the California artist Jorge Rojas to design the ornament based on the sculpture by Marshall Fredericks. The full-scale bronze casting of this piece is located at the Community House in Birmingham, Michigan. A small-scale plaster model and bronze casting are in the museum collection.
