This piece came to life when I spotted some fireplace screen in my studio. I like the concept of screen. From what? From who? As I was creating this, Hamas attacked Israel in an unprecedented vicious manner and of course, there was retaliatory action. It continues, in its horror. We all one way or another are held prisoner. It may be by design, ours or someone else's. It colors our world. It is not pretty and at a certain point, it is critical to break out. We have to encourage the screens to drop so that we may see.
