"Little Hero" by Lyric Dorsey

Lyric Dorsey is in 11th grade at Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy. Majoring in art, she hopes to be a part of an organization working with animals. In her Marshall Fredericks inspired piece, she focuses on "The Lion and Mouse". In her artwork, the lion looks at the mouse as one to be respected because of his bravery. Based on a story written by Aesop, the mouse was spared by the lion in trade for a favor later. The moral of the story is that the smallest being can do great things.
