"A Study in Tension, Surface Tension" by Tori Spence

Tori Spence grew up in the Tri-Cities and loved visiting the Marshall Fredericks Museum as a teen. She's not always artistically inclined, but recently decided it would be soothing to push watercolor around on paper and see how it dried. She states "I was looking at a topographical map of the peninsula separating Kailua from Kaneohe on the island of Oahu, and thought it looked like a curving spine. The colors flowed from there."
