"Eyewitness" by Alma M. Cooke

Alma M. Cooke, a mixed media artist originally from the Chicago area, has been a Saginaw, MI resident for more than thirty years. She holds a master's degree in the Art of Teaching and has taught music in the Saginaw Public School system including Handley School for the creative and academically talented. Mostly a "self-taught" artist, Alma works in mixed-media applying stylistic embellishment and protective sealant to a given visual motif for a one-of-a-kind piece. Her artistic expression encompasses a variety of forms from vases to folding screens, lamps, clothing and two-dimensional compositions.
