Helen Percy Lystra is a painter working in a variety of media. She is a graduate of Grand Valley State University. She also studied at Hillsdale College and at the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work can be seen at the Gallery Uptown in downtown Grand Haven, MI and the Cause and Affect Gallery in Fenton, MI. "Studies in black and white offer me opportunities to play with different compositions. These works began the series and it is one I go back to often."
