"A Beautiful Mourning" by Anestasia Zamora

Anestasia Zamora is a sophomore at Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy who heard about the call for Mail Art and sent in her artwork "A Beautiful Mourning." Her mail art features a blue sky behind the image of a pair of lungs wrapped with lilies, inspired by Marshall Fredericks' floral forms. She chose to portray the image of the lungs made of coronavirus particles with the lilies signifying a remembrance or honoring of those who have died of the [Coronavirus] COVID-19.
