"Don't Do Drugs Kids" by Anissa Overly

Anissa Overly states, "This artwork was inspired by an acrylic painting I have been working on since May that is supposed to look and give the audience a trippy or psychedelic feeling. The piece represents how thin our touch with reality is throughout life but especially when we die or near death, which was inspired by my Nana who was dying in our family's living room during the process of the painting, and how we sometimes need to escape our scary reality of life and death through means of drugs."
